Here's the trailer for the Reykjavik International Filmfestival 2011. I spent the whole summer in Iceland to work with the RIFF team.
I was also involved in the catalogue, responsible for the digital screenings (a LOT of work) and some other stuff. For the trailer I was production/camera assistant.
The trailer features the mascot of that years festival with the lovely name Filmünd Reel (born and raised in Germany). The costume was created out of filmstrips from several 35 mm copies of random trailers.
I really like the mascot.. it was a great idea.
